He was cut because Dallas KNEW they were overpaying. I doubt he even gets a Million per year in free agency.

No but put a little bit together. He left Carolina over money. He is getting cut from Dallas for money reasons. He is not going to want to take less than a certain amount either. He may and probably will have to take less. But he will have to be offered that kind of money as a whole from interested teams before he will lower his demands.
He will probably be one of the latter FA signings by whatever team.
