Has to be either 1 or 2. 3 is not stupid at all, IMO and 4 is somewhat poignant.

I'll vote for 1 since, IMO, the intended message isn't even clear. 2 is dumb but it is more like he is lying to himself to make himself feel better.

What he really does best is market himself. Specific avenues that I know about have been writing music, touring/ promoting that music (including marketing toys, comics, etc.), producing music (his and others'), acting, and (recently) jounalism.

Shit man, how many college players would want to play in NFL? How many of them are ABLE to? You are comparing very different and uncomparable things. Football players AND popular band members have to work VERY hard, often sacrificing their health and their bodies.
