In KC, he isn't covering those guys.
He will have to at some point.

Flowers has never moved to the right side.

He's only ever played the slot or LCB.

I appreciate the respect, SR, but like you, I haven't seen enough of the Dolphin defense to form an educated opinion.

And unlike Claythan, I won't form an opinion based on sites like PFF rankings.

Also, unlike others *cough*Dane McCloud*cough*, I won't form an opion based on what "experts" have to say.

Now he's paid more than anyone.

Ridiculous. The Ravens had to do it, too.

I'd be happy as hell if the Chiefs won the Super Bowl but if I were a Ravens fan I wouldn't really be looking forward to this next season...the cap hell they were in plus the Flacco contract means they are staring 8-8 right in the face IMHO
Overall, I agree with your opinion on Flacco.

He has been inconsistent in the regular season throughout his career, and until the last two postseasons, he's been mediocre, at best, winnig because of his defense and running game.

Last two postseaons he has been outstanding, and to portray that game winner to Jones as a Hail Mary is a bit disingenuous.

Yes, Rahim Moore ****ed up coverage, but because he was out of position to start the play.

That's a read and throw that Flacco makes 9 times out of 10.

what??

he was pressured and flushed out of the pocket...he heaved a 70 yard punt...that was a desperation throw...the under corner literally stopped and watched for some reason and Rahim Moore waited on the ball like he was going to pick it only to figure out he misjudged it by 8 yards...and then he flailed back and looked like an 8th grade defender while Jacoby Jones caught it like a punt and ran in for a TD

that was the worst defensed pass in NFL history

I rewatched it...

I was wrong. Still.

that was awful, awful, awful coverage by Rahim Moore. WTF was he doing? I still have no idea. I just didn't get that. That honestly had to be the worst play in NFL history (given the circumstances)

I mean...Rahim Moore literally "got there" and waited for the ball...and then he double tapped his feet and realized he misjudged the ball by 5 yards...and then he literally flopped backwards to try and tip it and Jacoby Jones was there waiting for the ball to get to him...

it was like waiting to catch a baseball in the outfield only to realize at the last minute it was going to land 5 feet behind you...

it was embarrassing...and it made Joe Flacco 40 extra million

Pressure came almost from the snap, but Moore lined up to close to the line and tto far inside, and Flacco saw that pre-snap.

He was looking for that pass from the snap.

well of course he was

they needed a TD

either way

Moore was there...he just horribly misjudged the ball for some reason

I swear to God I would have made that play in that situation. I'm moderately athletic.
