To be honest, I can't really remember a single article of his that stuck out to me. All I really remember about him is that just about every time (though, not EVERY time), I'd read something of his, I would disagree almost 100%. Mary, Mary Quite Contrary. He just seemed to like being controversial whether or not he really believed what he was writing, which made a lot of it difficult to read.

Oh well.

That's how I feel. I could name several JoPo articles that still stand out now, but I can barely think of one Whitlock article that has stuck with me. JoPo was a Star legend, Whitlock was not.

Not all of the time, but the Vermeil years were somewhat entertaining. Just because we had that in common doesn't mean I agreed with him all the time. I said "almost" all the time.
