Nobody beats KU when they play like they did last night. Hopefully they continue playing with that kind of intensity.

What does everybody think of Boeheim's "meltdown?"

I'm not sure he totally melted down. I think he was trying to draw as much attention as possible to the normal duke officiating.

I'm sure Jim has been on the other side of that call at home enough times. He just put his team in an even worse spot.

Heh. I know he has. I watched the Mello national championship. I think he wasn't expecting that bad at Duke. He obviously hasn't watched too many games at Cameron.

Did he? Are there league repercussions or something? I haven't followed it much.

It's probably the most wide open tourney in the past 20 years, with the exception possibly of 2011 and that was only because the brackets melted down. (KU, Duke, and Ohio State were legit 1-seeds who couldn't get out of their regions for whatever reason)

I think I read that every winner is top-25 in KenPom's off and def efficiency. Well there are only a few teams that qualify. Fla, Louis, Nova, Syracuse, Wich State. KU is just outside at 5 & 27.

Ok that was a pretty clear charge, the only reason he's mad is because they called it. Usually they don't in end game situations.

So should get in
Kansas
ISU
Oklahoma
Texas
ksu

1 of the three
Oklahoma State
Baylor
WVU
Whether you think its right or not, decision makers will take in Smart's absence for three games, so if OSU finishes strong, they'll get in. They got a high profile player they want in the Tournament.

Baylor has the #8 SOS. If they continue their recent play, they'll get in.

WVU needs a good Tournament run.

All depends on the competition for spots. "The field" isn't that strong this year, most one bid conferences will be getting exactly that, the exception being Wichita St in the MVC and 2 or 3 from the MWC. Then it will depend on the "bubble team" finishes from the major conferences. B12 SOS and RPI are huge factors for it. Some teams in other major conferences are going to have to go on some serious runs here to take spots away from B12.

If Embiid and Wiggins decide to dominate then no one can stop them. It's unbelievable. Embiid is starting to show the traits of a truly great player. He has the will and desire to utterly annihilate other players. He wanted revenge purely for having lost.

Oh and anyone complaining about wiggins finishing at the rim or not being aggressive enough needs to eat a bag of dicks. It will be more useful than poking holes in his game.

He, of course, proceeded to blame the refereeing a few tweets later for MU not getting a share of it in 2012.
