Please Help My Student's Bovine Art Win

One of my high school art students is a finalist in a national art contest sponsored by Safeway/Lucerne called "The Art of Dairy". More than 9,000 high school students from across the U.S. entered. Judges chose nine finalists, including her based on drawings. Lucerne then delivered 5-by-8 foot fiberglass cows to each school to be painted. The two-sided design depicts environmental sustainability. It shows a farmer's cupped hands holding seeds, a hydroelectric dam, wind turbines, and solar panels. It took her about 170 hours to complete.

A lot is riding on the cow. My student stands to win $5,000 for college. An additional $20,000 would go to my school's art department if she wins the grand prize. That is 20x my yearly budget! This year, the winner will be selected by public voting online.

You can see her design and vote for her at the Art of Dairy web site. Voting on the Art of Dairy website is unlimited... and continues through May 15.

Uh, no way to see. If you look at her "Likes" it's up to like 788.

Imagine your son and/or daughters senior year, last month of school: Prom/ AP tests/other tests/graduation/announcements/planning for college/applying for scholarships & grants/college applications/orientations/community service/summer job hunting, etc., etc.,etc. and she is voting constantly... click. click. click. click. It's ridiculous really. But she was chosen out of 9,000 so I'm hoping and voting that she wins.
