Former NFL star Aaron Hernandez was found dead in his jail cell early Wednesday morning, according to the Massachusetts Department of Corrections.

I'm sure it will be investigated, adn I'm sure that he just killed himself because he realized that even after winning the double murder trial, he was in prison for the rest of his life with no possibility of parole.

I'm not/never been in prison but I can relate to these men,(I am haunted by my sins. I've risen and fallen and risen and fallen again. I've done things I can't forgive myself for) But perhaps there is hope If they can be savedif there is still something eternal and transcendent within them, if within these criminals' hearts there is still something noble and holy, if they can be saved, others can tooGod bless them. Some of these men do see and understand their mistakes.

When has prison ever helped anyone? Prisons are demon factories that turn ordinary people into traumatized, frustrated, mental cases, wrecking them completely, rendering them totally incapable of reintegrating into society.

From the CBS Boston story:

Mr. Hernandez was in a single cell in a general population housing unit. Mr. Hernandez hanged himself utilizing a bed sheet that he attached to his cell window.

Mr. Hernandez also attempted to block his door from the inside by jamming the door with various items.

How would someone else block his door from the inside?

As I said earlier, seeing his family in the courtroom and the realization that they were lost to him forever likely drove him over the edge.

4. and nobody heard/saw any commotion,

5. rather, they instead somehow staged it to look like he hanged himself,

6. and then somehow staged things so that the cell door was barricaded from the inside.

7. if they were other inmates, they then somehow snuck back into their own cells unobserved.
