The rules:

You'll vote for your ONE favorite scene among the three. The key here is FAVORITE. We're not talking about the 'best' or 'most powerful' or 'most meaningful'. We're talking about the scene that you most enjoy watching, however you define that.

The winners will move on. I'll also take the 10 highest-scoring second-place scenes and they'll advance as wild cards.

Some of our nominations did not include clips. This will be noted. If you find a clip, please post it in this thread and let me know so I can update it if it moves on.

My votes:

#1 - Anchorman. While I'm not a fan of the movie, this scene is reasonably funny.

#2 - War of the Worlds. It's a well done scene for its time, though I find the bell jar shields kind of odd.

#3 - The Fly. This is a classic movie scene, but it doesn't age very well. It's kind of hokey.

I.bet the same people that voted Chris Farley as best SNL comedian are the same ones choosing anchorman. I don't get it. Will Ferrel is the most awful actor in history. His crap is not funny in the least. And other than go f*** yourself San Diego, Anchorman was just as awful.

For the most part, I agree. I don't think Ferrell is terrible, but he's definitely a B-list or C-list comedian.
