Okay, so I'm checking my email, minding my own dang business, and I get quite the rude awakening... I get this nasty email from someone I DON'T EVEN KNOW!!!!! And this is the second time this has happened.... I don't even know how this person knows me or got my email address.... Do people have nothing better to do with their time??

I normally just delete e-mails if I don't recognize the address. I never even open them to read. I figure it's either a sales pitch, a forward, or a porno advertisement.

Next time don't even waste your time reading it if you don't know the person. Just my 2 cents.

I'm with the Twin. Any e-mail that I don't recognize gets deleted without being read. And I never open an attachment to an email. Viruses don't have a chance if you don't invite them into your computer.

If you have a "block sender" function on your e-mail, use it. I get so much junk and unsolicited mail now that the first thing I do is "block sender" on mail I don't recognize. Then I read my mail from family and friends, second.

2034 - I agree, you should just put a block sender on this guys email. He is just looking to piss you off, just like the trolls do. Just ignore the loser, he appearntly has nothing better to do with his time and is probably like 15 years old and one of the "quite" guys that everyone ignores at school. He figures since you can't see what a pitiful loser he is, that he can act pretty big behind a computer screen.

I don't want to come off as if I'm some old man trying to pass down the wisdom of the ages, but you seem like an intelligent, clear thinking, good person and I think you will come to the realization that people like this are to be pitied.

We all have different levels of maturity and one of my continual surprises is the age of some people that have never developed in their thinking as a human being and as a feeling person.

Use it as a source of ammusement (and personal pride ~ no one tries to bring a loser down to their level!

I dunno, he sounds like he's about 12 years old, but you should be able to find his email address in the header there and block it. If you want, I might be able to find out where it came from so you can call his internet sevice provider and complain at the abuse department... that is considered harrassment if he does it more than once.
