Has anyone gotten Wii Fit?
Looks like it's pretty limited to me, but was curious as to what anyone who's bought it has thought of it thus far.

I think its stupid to spend money on a video game that gets you to do the same shit you could be doing without it..I would spend that money on..I dunno..maybe a gym membership?

Mine shows up tomorrow. Honestly mostly I got it for the balance board. I'm a snowboarding addict and I'm expecting the next SSX to use it. I'm sure they could build pretty badass skateboarding games with it too. Supposidly wiiFit has a snowboarding game.

Honestly, its not meant to replace a gym or to get someone in shape whos out of shape.

I enjoy the balance and aerobic games more than the actual workout stuff like Yoga/pushups/situps etc. You really dont need a game to do that sort of stuff.

Two gripes:

1. I hate having to keep pushing the "A" button to get past an endless stream of screens before you start an activity. Its pointless and annoying.

2. Having 3/4 of the activities locked when you start the game. Dumb. Just give us all the games first.



The Balance board is quite unique and very cool. Lets hope game developers continue to take advantage of the technology in the future.
