Since the MLB draft is in a week why not? Baseball gurus where do you see Starling getting drafted and what kind of money will be thrown his way? I heard momma Starling wants him to go to school but that could be posturing.

That is what I have always been told too. I have friends and family in Gardner and the story has always been that he committed early to NU so he wouldn't have any distractions his senior year. If he committed early he wouldn't have to deal with scouts and schools bugging him everyday.

Actually, its 3, he would be in the MLB draft in 2014. However, if he does not sign tonight the Royals cannot draft him in 2014 unless he sends a letter to the Commissioner's Office explicitly giving them permission to draft him.

On another note, according to the Star this morning, Bubba returned to Gardner last Thurs (but that may be Pelini giving his players a few days off b/f the fall semester starts at NU).
