The Greg Wesley Axiom

If at any given time during a Kansas City Chiefs game, if Greg Wesley is on the field and there is a blown coverage over the top of the Cover 2, it is always Greg Wesley who has blown said coverage.

There are two constants in the universe:

The Speed of Light

The Greg Wesley Axiom

Any decent football organization would have dropped kicked his butt off the team after 2003.

Only the Chiefs......

Variant of axiom: If at any time an opposing running back breaks a tackle and makes a long run, it is because Greg Wesley stopped running toward said runner because he "assumed" that the tackle was being made.

He always makes a couple hard tackles a game, and that apparently makes us think he's a good safety, despite his many missed tackles and blown coverages.
