Anybody else watching this development?

Chris Roberts of Freelancer and Wing Commander fame is building the next gen space sim for the PC. He decided to forgo a publisher, and is crowd funding the game. Money pledged so far exceeds $24 million.

It will have a single player campaign and basically what amounts to an MMO-like online experience. And it looks very pretty so far. It gives good space porn, and the feature list sounds pretty incredible.

Yes I know it was wing commander just dont remember which one it was, and like i said flight sims are rather meh to me.
