Not shocked at all. They've been propping up Orton to be the next Cena for awhile.

I think I'm pretty much done watching WWE, for awhile at least.

Vince Russo must be booking SD...incredible.

Why put the title on Christian just to hotshot it to Orton???

If that was the plan, put the strap on Del Rio and start a program with him and Orton where Orton goes over...it's not rocket science.

Vince as usual...

Wow. Awesome.

Pretty sure I was more entertained in that 8+ minutes than I have been with Raw in the past 3 weeks....

I've read a review or two of tonight's smackdown and apparently it's a good show, including the main event and Christian's reaction to it. I'm probably going to watch, just to see a Daniel Bryan match that lasts more than 15 seconds.

As for Christian, I think it all boils down to whether they let him chase orton for the title or just drop him immediately to the midcard and make us stomach, say, Mark Henry in a title program with Orton. Not that I think they should have taken it off Christian this soon, but there's still a direction they can go from here (even if I expect that they won't).

Yet another crappy show.

I wonder about Lawler choking Cole with his tie. Danielson was fired for that late last year. It's like WWE can't remember their own rules.

Another week, another true statement. I've been watching off & on tonight and it's pretty awful from what I've seen...

I didn't even watch tonight, aside from catching a bit of the Cena destruction of Swagger and the Miz/Cena confrontation at the end.

They're losing me.

Yep. I'm going down to Dallas to see a friend this weekend & we're probably gunna watch Over the Limit at a sports bar because we haven't seen a wrestling PPV together in awhile, but that's about the only reason. When I saw that they announced the Punk & Ryan v. Kane & Show match last night, I turned the TV off.
