I think I'm going to make my fiance play this for like an hour and see if it's something she might want to do. There might be a 2% chance she'll like it and I won't have to feel like a dick when I'm devoting more time to the game than her.

So I finally get a chance to sit down and start playing last night around 10, I'm all excited... and then everything goes to shit.

I turn the game and get no video - there's like no signal to the monitor at all and a message flashing "Not Optimal Mode." Turns out AMD released some new drivers on 12/13, so I download them and it fixes the problem. Back to being excited.

I get into the game and start creating my character when all of a sudden I lose all video again... WTF??? I restart the computer and everything is working again. Windows loads normally, I start up the game and again, I lose all video. I open my case up to see WTF is going on inside and see that my power supply is really hot and the fans in it are not spinning. By that time the computer just loses power completely and I'm just sitting there in disbelief. I mean seriously, did my PSU wait to fail just at the right moment? At least I'm thinking it's my PSU, don't know what else could be making my computer act like that.

Ugh, that sucks, Pants. But hopefully it is just the power supply. At least that's an easy fix.

I just went and turned my shower on - cuz you know I haven't bathed or done much of anything else since monday... - and there was a cockroach in the tub. think that's a sign from god telling me to clean up?

I have a level 17 sentinel and now I'm leveling my gunslinger, who just hit 14.

I just got my early game access code today, and found out I am traveling out of town tonight for business and wont be back until Monday.
