I like hardcore search and rescue. I use CBJ-MS with muzzle brake and red dot, IED, no secondary weapon, no tactical, perks are quick draw, reload, sprint, dead silence, resilience and blast pro.

Run and gun just like any other COD

I see now that I had a typo in the post you quoted. Should have said run and *gun..

But, yeah. I don't like checking every corner and having to anxiously sidestep around them with my gun aimed hoping there's no one waiting on the other side with his finger already on the trigger.

It takes all the fun out of it for me. If I wanted to be strategical I'd play Battlefield.

I'm so ****ing done with this game. The lag is ****ing atrocious. I have a fantastic connection and can't buy kills. I hit people (on my screen) like 6 times and when I watch the kill cam, I only have one hit. I have a **** ton of one shot deaths.

The camping doesn't bother me so much as the bullshit connections. Historically, I'm about a 1.25-1.5 K/D ratio player and I can't even break 1 on this game.

If its like some previous CODs, the better connection you have, the more compensation they add in (against you) to "level the playing field". I'm not sure if ghosts does that, but it sounds like you may be experiencing it.

Yes, it is and that's exactly why I was excited for dedicated servers (which seems to be a big ****ing lie). The lag compensation system ruins the game for people like me.

Pisses me off that I get penalized for paying for a good internet connection. My friend who is a beast at COD (usually 3 K/D ratio) won't play COD at my house when he house sits for me because he said it plays so much different from when he is playing at his house.

Hmmm, that must have been my issue then. I can't tell you how many times I'd die from what seemed to be just a bullet or two. With my run and gun playng style, that shit doesn't work out too well, especially given the amount of camping in this game.

Historically speaking, I'm right around a 1.9 (ended BO, MW3, and BO2 with anywhere from a 1.85-1.95). I'm not one to complain when I don't do well but I knew something was very wrong when I struggled to break even on this game. By the time I gave it back to my roommate, I think I was at a 1.1 or something.

I've noticed a few times where I appear to die very quickly but it doesn't appear to be as bad as some of the older games. I'm at 1.85 k/d and on an upward trend. I also play a run and gun strategy. (20 kills in a death match game is usually my low end)

For reference sake my lowest k/d in the past was in the 1.65 range with my highest around 2.25.

Yes, I'm a run and gun player too. That's why the lag comp is so ****ing frustrating. When I first played the game it seemed to be much better and as I learned the maps, I was raping. The last three weeks it has all gone to shit. I watched a lot of the lag comp videos for the last COD and that's exactly what was happening to me. It was non-existent when the game first came out but now that shit is out of control.
