Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.


Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?



Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

My guess would be a squinb load got stuck in the barrel and he fired another shot.

Rifle ammo around town is still expensive, but found 12 gauge rounds in the $10-12 range @ dickies today.

It would be pretty tough to nearly impossible to double charge 50 bmg. You would have to use the wrong powder. Like fill the case up with pistol powder is the only way to do it.

That is a squib + obstruction + another shot.

Went & took the 8 hour CCW class today with the Wahoo NE. sheriffs . 100% on the test. & shot the old 1911 like I was in my 20s again at the 21 ft station.

I dnt intend on carrying at this time. It was about getting it done & being grandfathered in. I own a 1911 (to big) & a lil 22 short (to small). all my 44s are black powder & then a 36 cal navy & a 36 cal Spiller & Burr.

Thats half what i paid. Plus its another 100 to register with the Douglas county sheriffs department. & they could say no. I do have a pot ticket from the night before Elways last game. I dnt think they will. They had no probs giving me a State handgun purchase permit. & I have had to register all my black powder revolvers with the Omaha Police department.

Buddy of mine works at sporting goods store and they are getting in bulk 9mm (CCI Blazer Brass). Straw purchase with his 20% discount and I'm getting them at .23cpr which is exactly what I paid for my Aguila last June. I can only pick up a single box of 350 but it will be nice to pad the current inventory.

BTW here's a pretty decent review of the VEPR-12 might be a bit higher than you were looking at for $999 prepanic but I know the presales were originally $899.
