Keep in mind that you're a novice lifter for a longer period of time than you think you are. Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started.

Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. Find it HERE:

If you're a very advanced lifter (many, many years of CONSISTENT weight training), then there are lot of programs out there, and which one you pick is simply a matter of preference. If you're really that advanced, you should know what works for you and what doesn't by this point.

You guys have any badass heavier music you listen to, while working out? I'm more into heavier stuff such as "open letter" ammity affliction, "devils night" motionless in white. Haven't had much luck finding those types of songs I'm digging.

I'll be playing in a racquetball tournament all weekend (Hopefully I won't get knocked out early) so I'm resting today & tomorrow. I hate being sore & stiff going into tournaments.

I was asking you if you compete at any other facilities as a member of the CFO team or as an individual. I have seen some of those guys here, in Springfield, at competitions.

I actually got on the scale for the first time in a while.

A little over 3 years ago I was 236 (6'4") and over 10 months I got down to 181. Since then I've been slowly adding muscle and I'm back up to 197 but only 14% body fat.

I was initially shocked by the weight but all of my measurements are still heading in the right direction so F the scale.
