Lots of Broncos on the bargains list.

Tons of QBs on the bust list.

Praise from SI that's slanted towards the Broncos? Did Peter King compile this list or something?

Yeah, TD and Sharpe were definitely not 2 of the best late round bargins of the last 20 years. Why Braxton is on that list is a complete mystery though.

Your kidding right?

Sharpe seventh round pick went on to be the all time TE
TD sixth round pick rushed for over 2000 yards cut short by injury.

"Cade McNown never did much, but he DID date a Playboy model."

I guess that makes him automatically better than Ryan Leaf!

Hey--Where's Priest? Didn't he get drafted in the 7th round? Or did he just get signed as a free agent?

And where the hell is Ryan Leaf? I didn't see him on the bust list.

Priest Holmes was undrafted.

Ryan Leaf was definitely on the bust list.

Ah--I didn't see Leaf the first time. I was stunned because IMO he is the top bust becasue of the damge he did to the Charger organization. I think they are just beginning to recover years later.

I disagree with labelling chronically injured players "busts".

Guys like KiJana Carter etc. whose talent was undermined by their inability to stay healthy are not busts, IMO.

Busts are the guys whose talent was paired with an equal degree of immaturity and nonchalance, like Ryan Leaf. Or guys who were just flat-out overrated by the teams involved, like Trezelle Jenkins or Akili Smith.

I would disagree. A player that gets injured and never recovers should not be despised. However the team still makes a huge investment in that player.

If the team invests a draft pick, signing bonus, CAP space, and roster spot on that player and never receives a return on the investment, then he is a bust.
