7 on 7 Drill?

Which positions are used during a 7 on 7 drill? Im having an argument with a guy at work.

I'd say you're looking at QB, C, TE, and 4 WR/RBs on O and the LB's and DB's on D.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking. My boss said, 4 down offensive/defensive lineman, QB, 2 WRs, two DBs, and a free safety

7-on-7 is a passing drill, minus the Lineman...on both "O" and "D"....except the center stays to snap.

9-on-7 is a rushing drill, minus the WRs on offense and the DBs (CBs and Safeties) on defense.
