So that was Gunther's last year as HC right, Grbac as the starting QB?
If so, thats pretty sad that with the offense that we have had since then, we still werent able to pull off a win in Denver.

Good grief. Only won by one point.
Id forgotten how shabby that team was. Richardson starting at tailback, Grbac at the helm, with Derrick Alexander as the #1 WR. Sheesh. Tony G was huge in that game though. With Damon Huard in there not being as comfortable going through his progressions as Green is, maybe Gonzalez gets a lot of looks this week. If Huard can get the ball to Gonzalez enough to keep 8 out of the box and not have 4 guys on LJ as soon as he gets the ball, the Chiefs could have a chance. Maybe, just maybe our boys can hold em off and pull out a win. Maybe Huard can hold onto the football and be effective enough to move the offense. Yeah..... And maybe Im a chinese jet pilot. The @Denver week never gets any easier.

I think we won that game in 2000 because of Vanover's late punt return for a TD.
