I think I'd personally choose Samsung. I have an LG that just went out after 6 years. I tried to work on the mother board but no luck. Seems kinda quick to me.

The only thing I was really thinking about going all out for was the Chromebook deal at Best Buy. I wanted one for each of my daughters, but they're gone now, at least in my area.

Oh well.

This guy had a point

Claude Reigns Wasn't it done on Halloween also? They set a fire to divert security so a cart of merchandise could be stolen. When they catch the persons responsible, they should be charged with attempted murder for each person in the store at the time, which would be hundreds of charges against them!

Yeah, it was for the $99 one...I just wanted the basic ones for my girls. It's cool, I'll find something...just pay a bit more.

Any good deals on one now?

I went to BB about 7 last night, bought both John Wick movies in 4k/BD and picked up a Double DIN head unit, which was half off, to replace my current one. All told, $97 bucks after tax and didn't have to fight any crowds.

I wasted almost 5 hours in line at Best Buy Thursday, hoping to get one of the 50" Sharp 4k's they were offering for $180. I was 23rd in line. They handed out MAYBE a dozen tickets for those. Fortunately, I was able to instead get a 49" 4k from Amazon's flash deal for $167 (free shipping).
It's an Avera brand (never heard of those), but they show to have mostly good reviews.

I ****ed up on that one from Amazon. I was waitlisted and didn't hear the notification until it was too late. Only lasted like a minute it seems. Didn't even bother to try the Best Buy one.

Yeah, it was definitely luck of the draw on the flash deal. Don't feel too bad.
By the time I let some friends know, they had already ended the deal.

Get a Discover Card, buy the TV before Black Friday and PM with Discover during the actual sale.

That's why there's only a handful of these things around by BF.
