Wilfork has an ugly wife

Ted Johnson, a former Patriots linebacker (won three Super Bowls, played at the University of Colorado), is now hosting a radio show in Houston. He was asked who the ugliest spouse was on the Patriots during his time there.

That’s something he probably should have not answered. But he did. “He won’t hear this – Vince Wilfork,” said Johnson. Whoops.

Johnson tweeted out an apology later Friday morning.

“I just made a huge error in judgement and want to apologize to Vince and his wife for comments I made earlier today on a Houston radio show,” @TedJ52 tweeted. “Vince and his family are outstanding people who I have admired since they arrived in [New England]. I learned a big lesson today and feel terrible.”

Johnson later added: “I have personally apologized to the family and feel awful. It was a huge error in judgment and I’m sorry for upsetting Vince’s family. The last thing I will say about this is that I understand the criticism [and] will own my poor decision.”

I won't argue about her physical attractiveness, but I will say that Wilfork and his wife, both, have been very active in the community, seem like they are genuinely in love and are really down to earth about everything. She actively tweets and is very plugged in to the fanbase.

Secondly, I think it's really bad judgement and shows real lack of character when people use the F word on social media and don't even block out any letters. Just wow!

It doesn't make up for him doing it in the first place, but I'm glad to hear he apologized to them personally as well as on his twitter account.

As someone else noted, it's one thing to take a shot at Wilfork, but saying that about his wife is chickenshit.

I agree 100%. I'm just posting an update -- I'm not defending Johnson in any way, shape or form. What he said was mean, petty and completely inappropriate, and I don't blame Wilfork for being very pissed off.

Also, like I said, Bianca is very well grounded.
