Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

I SHOT A BARRETT M-82 FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY!!!!!

JIMP

Recoil was nothing, but the trigger was a heavy mother, and the stock handle was cheap for a 8-9000 rifle. I felt like I had the power of God in my hands, with 10 rounds of assrape a finger pull away.

Fun stuff. I shot the McMillan a couple years ago and a prototype Barret. The strong fist of Thor for sure

I've got an xdm .40, 16 + 1, very respectable.

It's smaller in real life than on TV. Strange.

My best friend purchased it, so I will ask him if I can put some video up one of these days. I would love to have one but 10K (after scope) along with 3-5 bucks a shot would go a long way toward some more practical yet awesome gear and bullets.

I got to shoot a .50 cal machine gun when I was in the Navy. That was fun. Only did it once.

Got to shoot my cousin's .50 cal Desert Eagle last summer. That was fun, too.

Thanks man.

The removeable carry handle doesnt bother me, i really dont think i'll ever want to mess with a scope, with my sights dialed in right i shoot just fine without one, the only thing i might end up wanting is a bottom mount laser.

Bushmaster has the chrome lined barrel right? dont wanna be scraping rust out of it every time i have the thing out in weather.

Many thanks for your advice.

I'll also bear in mind notorious' advice about the dpms trigger, they're out, i certainly dont want some balky trigger.

But as i think about it, i prolly dont want a handle at all, just for the "clean lines" aesthetic sake alone, no one carries one of those with that silly thing anyway.

Many thanks for your advice.

you can change out triggers. these AR15s are pretty modular so switching out stuff and adding stuff is relatively easy and cheap.
