You are spoiled rotten. Mad about a 9-win season? Do you understand how shitty Mizzou football was before Pinkel? If anything, you should complain about 2012. He made the right decision by cutting DGB.

I think Alden's job is more in question at this point than Pinkel's. Pinkel's program has had some problems, but no more than normal for a team of that size at D-1, really.

Alden talks a big game about running a first-class organization and running a clean, tight ship... and then is in the papers for 13 incidents in the past 9 months.

If I'm R. Bowen Loftin, I can't help but notice that. I've been on the job 7-8 months and this key employee I inherited, who prides himself on how above-board his organization/direct reports are, has constantly been in the papers for legal issues since I took the job...

That kid probably isn't going to make it in a college football program, anyway, then.

Flip side: The Missouri staff talks a lot about core values and doing things right and Pinkel opens EVERY recruiting event (junior day, etc) with a speech that includes a lengthy section about respecting women.

If they DON'T punish DGB on this one, Pinkel is a hypocrite. That's easier to neg recruit than a school bouncing a guy who couldn't stay out of trouble.

If that's all you say about 2008 then it doesn't look that bad. Don't remember the fact that they were ranked #6 preseason and ended up losing by 41 in the big 12 championship followed by a loss to northwestern in the ALAMO bowl. Don't know many programs that keep coaches after the players give up on them like that. Embarrassing season. Also, your argument about how bad Mizzou was before Pinkel is stupid. No one made that argument for king Carl when we booted his ass. Pinkel sucks. He'll mever win any sort of championship. Haven't we given him long enough to try?
