Non Football: Shopping
It is always funny going to a place to get medicine or toilet type stuff. Like the Pharmacutical section of a grocery store. Nobody makes eye contact and everyone seems to go out of their way to not be in the sight line of other people. Its as if everyone assumes the other person is getting Preperation H, tampons, and herepes medicine at the same time and you shouldn't come within 5 ft. of them. Kind of a funny way to act for a group of people who are probably getting tooth paste and nail clippers.

Just try talking to someone about a product and watch how fast they leave.
"Can you believe the price of rubbers nowadays? I remember getting a 3 pack for 1.75 and those were the ticklers - not the 'just for entertainment purpose' french ticklers, but the real things that protected you. And that jelly, man that leaves a filmy taste in your mouth for hours, gack! I remember buying a hemmerhoid creme, a box of rubbers, some suppositories, and my wife's depilatory lip creme for a 10.00 and still having money left over for McDonald's afterwards. Ahh, the good old days are gone forever......"

I went in to get some last week and you had to have someone open this locked cabinet for them. Why are they locking up condoms like they are drugs or something?

Anything you can slap on the outside of a box, can be pulled off easily. Nowadays, they are hiding those antitheft tags inside a lot of boxes. But items like condoms are so low cost, high profit that the manufacturers won't install them prior to delivery. It is more cost efficient to put them in a locked case.

Uh Zach, that was ME in the pharmacy section, and I WAS buying tampons, and I'm not ashamed to admit it either.
Hey BTW, did I see you on Walnut Street Saturday? Looked like you.
