Today was a life changing day for myself and my family.

I was not going to post anything about it but, I just cant stand it.. In Aug of 98 I was attempting to start a personal watercraft, and the thing exploded....The blast broke my back, L1 burst fracture, and completely dislocated my left knee. Anyway, the cause of the explosion was determined to be a spark plug that vibrated out of the cylinder head, thus causing the cavity of the craft to be filled with air/fuel mixture. All I did was push the start button, and next thing you know I'm flying through the air. The craft had just been picked up from the repair shop.

Today, through mediation, I reached a settlement agreement with the Insurance carrier of the repair shop.
I Never filed suit although I did retain a lawyer. It still has not sunk in yet first thing I did was structure annuitys(sp?) for my two sons projected college tuitions (sons are 6 and eight.)

Guys...I'm freaked out!...Sorry for the personal post....Joe

Pleased to see you have your namesake back.
And props to you in your couragous recovery, that must have been a horrible ordeal. Very sorry to hear you went through such a thing.

But sounds as if everything has turned out positive for you and the family. There are some respectable attorneys out there, my father and AZ amoung them, and yours too it sounds.
