I actually liked Origins better also on a whole.. Other then sabertooth and deadpool..
I actually liked Sabretooth in Wolverine: Origins.

He was, at least, much better than the original portrayal in X-Men 1.

I was disappointed in how they basically did NOTHING with Colossus.
I was happy they made Nightcrawler a part of it all. I've always thought Nightcrawler has the coolest power.

If you could have only one power....not like Superman with multiple stuff....just one.....what would it be????

I'd go with NC's teleportation. what could be cooler? shit you could put on one a those flying suits and frigging FLY. just keep popping yourself back up. go anywhere in the blink of an eye. only way you could get whooped is if somebody snuck up on you. hell even Superman couldn't whip me....cause he couldn't catch me.

Off the top of my head, the powers I'd most like to have are teleportation, telekinesis, telepathy, and something like Wolverine's regenerating abilities.

I think it would be cool to be able to read/control minds and be disease free/ in your physical prime for hundreds of years, but would you REALLY want to know what people are thinking or outlive your loved ones by centuries?

So then it comes down to telekinesis or teleportation for me. It would come down to the strength of the powers for me to decide from there. Can I teleport across the globe and bring people/ items with me or can I only teleport short distances/places I've already been? Can I only move things with my mind that I'd be strong enough to lift with my body or would I be capable of lifting tons?

Either way, I'd likely still rather teleportation. The allure of being able to be anywhere I want, WHENEVER I want is just too damn awesome. I wonder how my life would be though. Would I Jumper it up and rob banks to live a comfy life or take the honest route and continue working as an honest man? I'm not too sure to be honest. I'd probably actually rob some drug cartel and live off that..

Some of the better characters they've just completely ignored. Colossus is a super strong guy that can turn to steele. How is that not a big player?

Havok was cyclops' (less disciplined and more emotional) brother and the two never got along. Tons of good material there. Putting him in the wrong time period ****s all that up.

As far as the younger X-Men Cannonball and Sunspot would look really cool on screen.

I was always a fan of Longshot.

Quote:
Longshot's left eye glows brightly when he uses his superhuman powers. He was genetically engineered and augmented by magical means to have certain superhuman abilities. The mystical augmentation gave him the ability to affect probability fields through psionic means in order to give himself "good luck" in his activities. This allows incredibly unlikely events to happen in Longshot's favor. This power operates even when Longshot does not consciously will it to do so. This ability is tied into the positive aspects of his personality: should he attempt to use his powers for a selfish or evil act, or should he give up hope, his powers will fail to function or even backfire, giving him bad luck.
Sounds lame on the surface but as long as he's acting in a way that's "pure of heart" he's nearly unbeatable.

I say...just like Nightcrawler...yes...you can go anywhere and take shit with you. he saved.....umm......somebody by porting out of the plane, grabbing them, and porting back. THEREFORE.....I can go where I want in a blink AND take stuff/people with me.

and I LOVE the drug cartel idea.

I like the sound of that. It has about a million real-world applications which is what I think about when asked this question.

Like, yeah, it would be cool to be able to turn my skin into metal and lift 100 tons but what real-world application is there for that? Being able to shoot beams out of my eyes would be hella cool, but what on this planet would that be useful for? Gambit's powers in this world would also be pretty much useless..

But if I were Professor X I'd have about 9 Ph.Ds and would never not know an answer to a question. I'd just read the mind of someone across the planet that knew the answer.

Pretty much everything around us has some form of metal in it so Magnetos powers would be pretty useful.

If I were the Juggernaut, I'd have the most prolific football career ever (with Colossus' strength, he could do the same I suppose).

If I could shapeshift like Mystique? Shiiiiiiiitt. I'd be Brad Pitt one night then Idris Elba the next. I'd be getting all kinds of pussy!

That's a big problem I've had with the X Men movie franchise. They have some fan favorites and story lines with certain characters that are gold mines, yet they focus on these dumbshit characters.

Give me a good film with Gambit, Nightcrawler and Colossus. Instead we get Rogue, Banshee and some bitch with dragonfly wings that shoots fireballs out of her mouth.

Liked it a lot. Way better than the first Wolverine spinoff.

Body horror scenes were great. I wish I hadn't seen the plot twist coming a mile away, but it was still well executed.

I had no idea that was Sabertooth in Wolverine: Origins!

I am going to see this today. I expect that I will be entertained at the very least.
