Kent Babb eviscerates Pioli once again.

Listen to 49 minutes of pure win.

http://91984.tinypenis.com/entry/201...18_07_15-08_00

Relevant quotes:

Pioli, pwned.

Quote:
"Pioli comes in dressed very casually and wants us to see him as a regular guy. And then he proceeds to act like the lunatic he is: an egomaniac, an insecure freak."

"Todd Haley is trying to get off on the right foot with us...and Pioli is making everybody uncomfortable and asking things like "you don't want us to win?"

"Haley would try to answer a question or try to talk and get to know us and Pioli would talk over him and wouldn't let him talk. He figuratively slapped him down. If we asked Haley something, Scott would answer for him."

"As soon as you challenge him on something you're part of the problem. If you're not with us you're against us. That's part of the reason they had mass firings and layoffs. People can't work with him."

"If he wants to be, he can be very charming and make you feel like a million bucks. He can be a good guy, but most of the time he doesn't feel like doing it. So I can see him charming Clark Hunt. It made a lot of sense."

"These guys don't believe in what this organization is doing. They don't care. They're not playing hard for Romeo, they're not organized, and that comes straight from the GM."

"One of the PR guys was so scared of pissing these guys off that he would literally run from the press room into the PR office to grab a diet coke and a bottle of water for Todd Haley, just in case he wanted one or the other. Haley told me he didn't care about any of that, but that was the environment that Pioli expected. That guy is no longer working there because he thought he had to be a certain way and that pissed them off even further because he went over the top with trying to appease what he thought they wanted."

"He would rather you think he was good than actually be good. He wants to be good but he's so concerned with you thinking he's good that he cares more about that."

"I don't think Clark had any idea that all this was going on. If you have a horrible teacher when you're in school, when the parents come in they put on a wonderful show about how nice they are and that's the way Pioli is for Clark. He's a different guy around him."

"Clark Hunt not opening his wallet is not the reason the Chiefs are bad. Scott Pioli doesn't know how to identify talent, it's as simple as that."

"If he lets Scott Pioli stay here, Clark is the worst owner in the NFL."

"They've basically gotten rid of everybody from Gonzalez to Waters...if you're in a position where you can publicly question the grand regime, they don't want you around. That's the reason Tamba Hali doesn't talk. He doesn't want to say anything that's going to piss off these guys."

"If Pioli was sitting here we'd all be on pins and needles because he reminds you that he doesn't drink and he doesn't cuss. Who cares about that? One time I said we should go get a beer and talk about this and he gave me a three minute explanation about why he doesn't drink. I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink."

"He's irrelevant, and the Chiefs are irrelevant, too. On the national landscape, the Chiefs sadly are irrelevant."

"You see these play 60 commercials or NFL commercials, and you never see the Chiefs on there. You know why? Because Scott Pioli said no. They took down all the signs for their community service. That's not allowed. You're not allowed to have fun playing football. In his twisted mind, that's about an individual. That's about a person and he's trying to build a team."
Called Pioli a "colossal shitshow"

The best player on the roster as it stands in my estimation is the nickle corner Javier Arenas, I think he'd have a shot at starting at nickle for most teams. (not best player but best at what he does.)

It is a shame that no one in the KC media has the balls to ask Fat Scott any of what Babb mentioned.

Len Dawson especially is gutless. He has nothing to lose... there is no way in hell the Chiefs can fire him from his radio job. Clark would not allow it. Yet he sits there in an interview with Fat Scott that KMBC hyped relentelessly and practically gave him a blow job.

I just had the unfortunate urge to listen to Roleo's press conference. Someone asked him about how he's dealing with all the public outrage and problems. He said, "You can't please everybody all the time." and the media goofs just let it pass. Nobody asked the obvious follow-up, "When are you planning to please somebody once?"

I don't know why I listened to that dumbass. A major case of clicker's remorse.

Go to the 17:00 mark in the above clip. The greatest bards in history would fail to equal Babb's passion when he calls Piolia a "colossal shit show" without a trace of humor or remorse; it's beautiful.

I knew there was a good reason why i always liked Babb.

He has a great read on people and is also quite the wordsmith... from enlightening and entertaining "man behind the mask" pieces to hard hitting Woodward & Bernstein deep expose's, he's equal to both.

Its AWESOME how he hasnt forgotten our angst and turmoil from his lofty new perch.

I heard that. Clearly, Kent has taken this mission on with abandon. Somewhere along the line, Dr. Evil pissed Babb off and he's been working on evens ever since. It's a shame he left town when he did. It would have been nice to see him write the final chapter in the Pioli saga.

I can't tell you how encouraged I am by Babb's repeated insistence that Clark will fire Dr. Evil, though. He seems absolutely convinced that it's a foregone conclusion and the writing is on the wall and the fat lady has already strapped on the girdle and rehearsed her encore. I hope he isn't just whistling in the dark.
