They need to sack the stupid rules about how both stations can't have two games, or that certain stations are obligated to show certain games when much better games are available.

They should keep the blackout rule and enforce it more strictly.
That game against Tennessee didn't look sold out. If it was blacked out, it would have spared me from watching it. |

It also puts an onus on the team to actually earn business. There's tons of other arguments, that's just the best one. They opened this can of worms themselves when they expected the public to finance their homes.

As a Chiefs fan living in Raiders country-adjacent, I applaud this change. Their sorry-assed games are often blacked out, so chalk up one more televised Chiefs game for me.
