The owner is still the captain of this ship.. He may have cut into his profits a bit this year to fend of some criticism, but the truth is, he's still a greedy ****wad and the only constant in this teams failures for a lot longer than GMDM and Ned.. He'll jsut hire another Rex Hud to replace them...

The record might not show it, but DM took the worst rotation and turned into one of the best. The young guys havent developed, I will give you that. Hiring dumb and dumber to be the hitting coaches, I will give you that.

But give a guy a good to great 1-2-3 rotation, great defense, good to great bullpen, and this team should be doing more. Yost seems to be pulling all the WRONG strings. Batting Escobar 2nd? Using Collins as a lefty specialist? Keeping Frenchy in the lineup?

DM did what all of us asked for after last year - give us a good to great starting rotation. Im not defending everything he's ever done, but anyone who wasnt excited about the roster coming into this year is a pessimist, especially given the hindsight of what Shields and Santana have done.
