Larry Johnson with the shots fired again @CPs favorite coach

On Twitter he wrote this:

"While we on it, 416 carries didn’t have any negative downsides for me. I was dependable, durable and I wanted MORE.
I didn’t play long after that because I didn’t fit the “New and Improved” offenses that thought I would be effective in shotgun.....

Oh ..and a A-Hole."

He can hate Haley or whatever but he needs to be honest with himself and realize his career was on a fast decline already before Haley got to KC. Then LJ played like total shit and a lot of it wasn't coaching. LJ would go down at first contact every damn play in 09.

Uhhhhh......no!
Despite what anyone thinks of Larry and his personality, he was a damn good back for a few years for the Chiefs.

I just remember thinking we were (and are) blessed at RB in Kansas City. Priest, then LJ, then JC and now Hunt, we seem to have a knack for getting the good ones.

I loved LJ, dude ran angry. He was a thing of a beauty to watch in his prime years with the Chiefs. It's also awesome that hes taking responsibility of his past and trying to reconnect with Chiefs fans. Respect

Yeah, 2008 was actually a somewhat entertaining season even though they were 2-14. It was fun watching a bunch of young guys develop like Albert, Flowers, Charles, Carr, Bowe, Hali, and Dorsey. Also, it was a lot easier to watch Thipgen run Gailey's spread offense compared to watching Croyle and Huard.

You’re right, but before that was a wasteland of RBBC. Those were some disgusting years. It really makes you appreciate what we’ve had.

Name a team that has had anywhere close to the number of elite rbs we've had over a 17 year period.

He’s like the poster child for the Chiefs RBBC. I legit think of him every time I remember those days.

I was like 10/11 then and don't really remember much of our offense, but I do remember the defense. It's funny how our O was so incredibly bad back then That I don't really remember any of the offensive players.
