Is there some place where active game day rosters are published?

I was going for actually played in the game, but if there is a place where I can parse the active roster, I would go that direction.

Bleacher Report provides full lists - they are easily found using google search - but in a text format.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1...tive-list-more

NFL Game Statistics Information Systems keeps track of them on a game by game level in the game reports as well - but the format might be difficult to use.

In our first year, didn't we just do the opposite? I thought we just took the players who were listed as "out" and assumed that everyone else was eligible.

My concern with using playing as the criterion is that most backup QBs never play.

The next thing up in the calendar is the cut to the 53-man roster. So you can probably go ahead and start. After that, we'll have a short limited free agency period where you can sort through the guys that got released and bid on them.

Provo will announce the first cuts of 2014. To get to a 53-man roster, Provo is releasing:

FB Evan Rodriguez
FS Kurt Coleman
OLB Chase Blackburn
P Tim Masthay
QB Tyler Wilson
RT Winston Justice
SS Danny McCray
WLB Jonathan Vilma
SLB Julian Stanford
WR Michael Jenkins
DT Jason Jones
CB Jacob Lacey

We're light on CBs and heavy on SS, FS, and OLB if anyone has extra CBs.

Ventura will make their first round of cuts, releasing those players with zero years left on their contracts:

OLB Andy Studebaker
FB John Conner
QB Matt Moore
LT Max Starks
OLB Tank Carder
S Tysyn Hartman
TE Zach Miller

Now we have to cut 15 more players. This is hard.

In order to have our next limited free agency period before the season begins, we should be relatively quick about it. I'll propose next Friday and cdcox can weigh in depending on what he needs to do to get the limited free agency up.

Limited free agency is essentially one more bidding process where we can bid on any available player, which includes the recent cuts. It's a short one-step process.

I have a glut of starting CBs in case anyone wants to make a trade. I'd also be willing to trade an injured Jerod Mayo, if someone wants to invest in him for the future.
