Starters have 11 sacks in 2 games (more like 3 quarters of play). A lot of it is having John Marshall at defensive coordinator... dudes been doing it for 30 years. When he was defensive coordinator in SF the 49ers were the NFL's No. 1 defense. But some of the success is just new players ripping it up. Lamaar Houston is an animal (might have some kinda anger problem, though). One of those sacks came on a 3 man rush so it ain't all John Marshall.

Now, as long as we can keep some kind of pocket protection, were gonna be wicked this season I mean come on, 3 sacks a game your QB sucks 5-7 a game, hell even Montana him self in his ****en prime could have done much to survive. It ain't just a bad QB. If your getting to him your D line sucks in the first place

Game wasn't all roses, ya know. That Campbell INT showed we need a bit more help up front. Hit as he threw, intercepted at the 11. Very next play, Rolando McClain totally overruns the play and Forte runs an 89-yard TD. Can't do that kinda stuff & win.
