I'll do you one better than that - last time it was in town I had tickets and confused the dates in my head - for some reason I thought they were for the Sunday matinee when they were actually for the Saturday matinee. I realized my mistake less than half an hour before the show started, 35 miles away. No way we would have made it, even for the second act. $180 down the ****ing drain.

That's the kind of mistake you only make once.

This "holiday" is an invention of Brachs to get more money out of the millions of suckers who fall for it hook line and sinker. I don't need corporations to tell me when or how to express my love for my wife.
Roses normally cost $10 per dozen on any given day, around V-day they jump up to $40 for the same dozen. Store bought cards are a ****ing joke (I don't need a mass produced card to speak for me) and on those rare occasions she or I want some sweets, we don't need a heart shaped box with shitty mass produced candy inside. I'd rather spend the money on some high quality sweets, they taste much better.

We will likely have a nice night out, but not because of this stupid "holiday" rather just because we love eachother and enjoy spending time together just like every other day of the year.

You may not need a mass produced card to speak for you, but it will likely help your spelling deficiency.
