A Change Gonna Come

nick wright ‏@getnickwright
Looks like @BillMaas & I are hearing the same things. Changes could be brewing at Arrowhead. Just think it'll be slower than fans would

@BillMaas: I assure you that Clark Hunt has taken the Bull by the horns and is addressing the Chiefs 2 biggest concerns

Oh, so for TWO WEEKS, I was wrong.

Wow, you REALLY proved your point.

I had some optimism for this season. As soon as the second preseason game was over, I changed my opinion.

Wow, so ****ing shoot me because a team that had Tyler Palko, Matt Cassel and Kyle ****ing Orton won 7 games last year without Charles, Berry and Moeaki would somehow improve in 2012.

What was I thinking? I guess I need to seek psychiatric help.

Along with the majority of NFL writers across the country. Whoa is me.

You thought the team was gonna be good all offseason. Otherwise you wouldn't have made those statements.

You don't get to sit there and pound your chest about being right when you were a huge homer for this shitbag of a team.

So I'm calling you on it.

Try not to get so butthurt, you're not the ****ing smartest fan here, even if you try to act like it all the time.

Really?

You're going to make some weak attempt at saving face by falling back on a strawman? I pointed out how full of shit you are, so I'm saying that Pioli is a genius? Wow. Good work. That'll fool everyone.

This isn't even fun. It's like boxing a one-armed man.

Arguing over who is more right is stupid at this point. We need to be unified. The larger point is that we all are on the same page now, finally.

Well, except for Hoover.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Well, see, I can't ever be right about anything.

I had a massive amount of shit flipped my way in 2009 because I was "wrong" and if I was "so smart" I'd work for an NFL team.

In August 2012, I thought this team had enough talent to make some noise this year, even though they were 7-9 last year without their best players.

Wow, my logic was really flawed, so I'm wrong again.

This team would be making a lot of noise if it had even an average quarterback. Shit, I think we would be at least 3-2 with Kyle ****ing Orton...what does that say about the talent of this team?

Not gonna make much noise when your quarterback gives the ball away 14 times in 5 games and gives you NOTHING positive from the position.
