Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

The paper does a good job on telling the actual story. It's pretty much spot on.

The DA and public got pissed when they saw the low bond and charge. The public doesn't like him., harassed the DA with pissed off phone calls. They changed his charges to six counts of shooting with intent to kill and a $50k bond.

Looks similar to a Luger 9mm, and those are extremely expensive if original. I have no idea what this pistol is worth.

No, I have this one.

And I tried to mount that on my AK, but it didn't work with the side mount - just too tall.

Price that as a Luger - IIRC 'gesichert' is German for 'safety'. It should be worth more than you expect, but not enough to lift the mortgage. I'd find a good expert and get it appraised.

These folks over in Topeka would be a decent place to start w/appraisals if you're nearby.

The guy who started that Kulls auction stuff moved from KC over to Washington DC, he works (or worked?) for the NRA appraising guns. Worth a shout at these Kansas folks (they sell his 'good enough to buy but not to collect') stuff to see if he's available to all you hillbillies, too.

http://www.armsbid.com/

He's a nice guy. I used to gab w/him on a 'gun bulletin board' 15 years or so ago, before he hit the big time.

I saw a few YouTube videos of the Bushnell trs on an ak I linked. That one doesn't look bad on an ak side mount. The vortex sparc is a micro red dot that I'm really digging.

Side note. Took the ak 74 and the XDS out today, first time. The XDS doesn't have much recoil and shoots like a dream and the ak....badass trigger and absolutely no recoil. Cleaning the rifle after using corrosive ammo sucks.
