***Official Who to Start Thread***

Week 1 is looming folks. I'm giddy - like a schoolgirl. Anyway, I figured I would create a thread where people from the planet can post their rosters, and or tentative weekly starting rosters if they needed help.

I'm stuck @ #2 RB and #3 WR. Here is who I have starting in week one.

QB - Garrard @ Tenn
RB - Barber @ Cleveland
Portis @ NYG, TJones @ Miami, Selvin Young @ Oakland
WR - Colston v. TB
WR - Cotchery @ Miami
Bryant Johnson v. Zona, Hackett @ SD, Porter @ Tenn, Galloway @ NO
TE - Lee v. Minny
K - Jeff Reed v. Houston
JAX D @ Tenn.

Any help/guidance for my second RB and third WR would be appreciated.

Our information has yet to be posted on Yahoo! But, when it is I will be able to let you guys know some of the better FA WRs.

Week 3 question. Who to start at WR3 spot? Housh @NYG, Welker vs. Miami, or Royal vs. NO? Housh has been disappointing thus far, and I don't see him rebounding against NYG, I was thinking Welker, but Yahoo has him projected as only getting 6 points.

Eh, I would never rely on those Yahoo projections. I think Welker is the way to go.

I am actually considering benching LT this week if that toe injury doesn't improve. I have Michael Turner on my bench, and if last Sunday was any indicator, he should have a big game. My other RB starter is Gore and there is no way I sit him when he is playing Detroit.

Definitely not Housh. Check later on in the week on the status of NO's secondary. Last week they were missing 2 starters and a third went down in the game, which led directly to Jason Campbell throwing over 300 yds on them. If they're still banged up Royal for sure. If those guys are going to be back in the lineup I'd go with Welker.

I wouldn't care if the Saints get all of there starters back..I would definitely go with Royal. You saw what Brandon Marshall offers and he'll distract the Saints secondary a lot..plus you have to think about the QB. Cutler throws a lot and is way better than Cassell.

For week 3:

Need two RB's.

Marion Barber vs GB at GB
Brandon Jacobs vs CIN at home
Julius Jones vs STL at home
Kenny Watson vs NYG at NYG

Scoring for RB's in my league:
Rushing TD - 6 pts
Receiving TD - 12 pts
Rushing Yards - 10 pts/100 yds then 1 pt for every additional 10 yds
Receiving - 5 pts/50 yds then 1 pt for every additional 10 yards

I may be in the norm luv - but gimme Brandon Jacobs and Julius Jones - based on matchups alone.

However, I don't think you can do any wrong starting Barber.

Need some advice:

McNabb - vs Pitts D
Cassel - vs Fins (I also have Moss so chance to double up on pts)

For RB:

Jones-Drew @ Indy
Willie Parker @ Philly
Then I also just picked up Jerious Norwood vs the our pathetic team.

I never got a response on benching LT for Turner this week. I know that you never bench a fantasy stud like LT, but with his toe injury I am leary about starting him this week. He didn't make through the first quarter last week. I saw what Chokeland did against KC's run D last week, and that makes me think that Turner will probably have a great fantasy day. Thought?

Quick hitter - Housh at NYG or Stewart at Minn. Since it's a PPR league and Stewart has yet to catch a pass, I'm leaning Housh.

Ugh. I don't like either choice. Housh has done shit this year. I thought he would be my number one, but I am benching him in favor of Eddie Royal this week.
