I'm not following it. Don't need to. It's Dee Ford. It's a big game. He is hurt again. He will not play again. That's my bet. Rinse / repeat, repeat, repeat...

Injury history is the biggest reason not to worry about resigning the guy. He does a decent job when healthy, the when healthy part is just not often enough. Someone else might be dumb and give a big contract and we can get a 3rd round comp for it.

My hope for him this year is to have a big season and help us get to the QB. Then, in the offseason, let someone else sign his ass just for him to break down again. I really hope we remember how often he’s been hurt.

Well, at the very least let's hope he gets us a good comp pick.

He is decent brokedick.
Jettison him as soon as you can replace him with another decent player that actually plays. |

With this medical staff it will be day to day then week to week on to month to month. Thats how Dee Ford rolls.

If Ford is a "decent" pass rusher, I'd like to see a good one.
He's got injury problems, but when he's healthy and on the field, he's a damn good pass rusher. |

Someone has to play the locker room piano during half-time. EB needs a break.

Incentive based contract if we keep him. Incentives would be based on games played.
Would consider franchise tag.

My concern with Ford is he can't stay on the field. You pay those guys to play, not to sit on the bench and take up a roster spot. I looked at the franchise tag for this year and it's almost $15M for a LB. Seriously, $15M for a guy you might get 3/4 of a season from? Thanks, but no thanks.
