Yup, it's a shit draft, no doubt about it.

Oh wait, sorry, the NFL prefers to call it a "depth draft".....

Depth....as in hardly any starter quality players available past the 1st round.

That's incorrect.

This is a really deep draft, it just lacks blue chip quality players...or so they say.

Once you leave the top 10 it's a huge drop.

This isn't a top heavy draft but it's one where the second round starts in the bottom of 1 and ends at the bottom of 3.

This is exactly the type of draft where you want to have multiple picks...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Bullshit.

It's a BS line fed by the NFL to keep you interested in watching and talking about football. "Depth" draft.....

As in, the majority of these players are going to be buried on the Depth chart.

Players are suppose to be taken from best to worst (loosely obviously), so if it's weak at the top, then it's even weaker at the middle and especially at the bottom.

This is 2009 all over again.

This will be the draft GM's are graded on.

There are so many players with risks, huge upsides, problems, reeruned combine numbers, etc.

There is no clear anything outside the top 5 or so and even those guys are debated.

Here's where your GM earns his money...

In 97' Delhomme and Kitna went undrafted.

In 96' had Damon Huard and Ray Lucas undrafted.

2000' had Bulger in the 6th and of course Brady.

Is this class worse than 97 or 96? I don't really believe that.
