Obama said we can keep our plan and doctor.

He wouldn't lie to us not the chosen one.

It's for their own good though, so who cares if Obama said they could keep it.

Obama knows best.

I'm already looking into how I can get by without health insurance at all. We've just had a concierge medicine office open up near us. My wife and I are going to go in for a consultation sometime this month. My plan is to pay the concierge rates for my family so we can get preventative coverage, and enroll for insurance only if we need it for major things. Worst case scenario is bankruptcy, right?

Doing the math, I can save a ton of money this way. The difference will go into our own savings account, rather than to line someone else's pocket. We have healthy kids, so really we just need to keep on the preventative stuff for my wife and I.

I think this sounds like an excellent plan.

Tapping out and working the system for welfare or disability is looking like a better and better option everyday bum **** barry is in office. I mean if there's no rewards for working hard, why do it?

So we recently got notified that we will have to pay $50 extra per month (some kind of penalty/fee) for health insurance starting in 2014 because I have health insurance available through my employer but we choose to go together through my wife's employer instead. Is this because of Obamacare kicking in?

That will be great until the Democrats outlaw this "loophole" so you have to "pay your fair share".

There obviously can't be any way for responsible people to save money here or the whole thing collapses.

The whole point of this was to make people who were already insured pay more to cover everyone they want to give Obamacare to. They can't let young healthy successful people off the hook for passing for this

Isn't this the essence of what the democrats do?

They don't improve people's situation, they just try to drag people down so that everyone is equally miserable.

No. That kind of thing has existed for years.
