This Week's Gambling Thread (9/30 - 10/6)

1. Go to the Leaderboard to insure your name is on the list of competitors this season. Also check your totals. Gambling with more than your total amount will disqualify you from the week.

2. If your name appears then you can go to 10/5/03 Odds odds to get the info to place your bets. Refresh the page BEFORE you decide on your bets.

3. Come back here and place your bets. Remember to follow the rules listed on Gambling Home Page Rules

I will take your bets from this page and place them on the web page listed in #2 above.

I STRONGLY advice that you refresh the pages before referring to them, especially if you have cookies activated.

Also note this very important fact: You are responsible for insuring your bets are placed accurately. Check it to insure your bets are correct. Remember - only you can prevent bad bet placement

IMPORTANT RULE - DO NOT EDIT YOUR BETS AFTER YOU HAVE PLACED THEM. INSTEAD START A NEW REPLY WITH THE WORDS "CHANGE BET(S)" AT THE BEGINNING OF THE POST

This will help me in keeping up with bet placement and changes without becoming an accountant and referee.

Scores are as follows:
1 Bwana 36,480
2 KCWolfman 34,750

Hey, I had Denver plus 3.5, but on the website It shows that I took the Chiefs minus the pts. So I don't know where you do your accounting, but I think my total may be off, and should have won 900 on my denver +3.5 bet, so i think there needs to be an additional 1100 to my total?

Doh! I ended up winning... Damn... That wasn't the plan. I submitted a change to my picks on another thread on accident, and then deleted them and got distracted before I remembered to re-submit them on the correct thread.

Hmmm... I'll take advantage of this unexpected new life by dropping the following bets:

5K on Indianapolis (+180)
5K on Indianapolis (+4.5)

As follows:

23,600 to start
-500 for Atl
+500 for Chi
-50 to the house
-500 for AZ
+2778 for KC Money
-278 to the house
+1000 for KC
-100 to the house
+2500 for WAS/PHI over
-250 to the house
+2500 for CLE
-250 to the house
Grand Total = 30,950

I will change it

To quote you I don't know where you do your accounting, but when you bet 500 and lose, you lose the full 500, not 450. And when you win the moneyline, you still lose 10% to the house for the win in the KC Moneyline.

Eh, no problem. You took it back just like you gave it. Obviously, you are not a Garcia Bronco fan.

Wow. What are the odds that I would place six bets for five different amounts for all of my money, and then precisely break even down to the dollar? I bet that's not a common occurrence.
