I should have been more clear about my 5 year post - That's perfectly fine, JUST DON'T TELL EVERYONE! Seriously, how does he expect to recruit in years 3, 4, and 5 after making that comment?

If I had to guess, they have some idea of who is next - which is what he'll sell the kids on in those years. Again, it's just a guess on my part.

I would hope that KU is considering this a 3-year plan.

Just like any school that hires Calipari better be ready to move on when the violation rumors start to surface.

I think I read that he's got to pay KU a pretty good buy out if he leaves in the first 4 years then I think year 5 is still a million.

I'd like to hear a lawyer discuss this. I don't think that would be enforceable. I can't imagine a court saying that someone HAS to work somewhere against his will.

It's called a contract. If you want out of the contract, you're going to have to pay. It's not the first time you've seen it.
