The Jason Bourne series continues this Fall with the fourth Bourne film set to get underway so says producers Frank Marshall and Tom Crowley.

The IESB caught up with the successful producers on the red carpet of the 34th Annual Saturn Awards on Tuesday in Universal City.

Marshall says the Untitled Jason Bourne Project is coming soon. Hopefully they will be shooting next summer for a release in 2010 and our favorite anti-hero is apparently headed to South America.

Erik Van Lustbader has been continuing the series since 2004. There are three new books...

The Bourne Legacy (2004)

The Bourne Betrayal (2007)

The Bourne Sanction (2008) - coming out later this month.

These books have not been received with near the critical praise as the Ludlum originals. Van Lustbader is not a bad author, but he can be a bit "pulpy".
