Internet comprehension is hard for most people, dunno why that is but it is. I'm specifically referring to new parents and dealing with very young children. It's important IMO that young people (partic fathers since they're the only ones who will relate to my opinions) know that there's nothing abnormal about being scared. Or being edgy, or feeling overwhelmed. They need that a helluva lot more than the tired old bullshit slap-on-the-back "Atta boy! Gonna be awesome! Congrats dude."

Well that's bullshit advice. You can disagree, I don't really care. I've relayed this info to many young guys who have thanked me later for the heads up and I've been called numerous times when they were struggling because I wasn't judgmental and I listened to them. One guy I knew was so shellshocked his first month that he had trouble driving to work. No kidding.

We've ended up buying our diapers at Sam's (I get a free card). I think it ended up being a little cheaper actually, at least for the brand that we use. He likes to get a little rash with a lot of the disposables, except one brand in particular, which they fortunately carry. I halfway wish they sold a smaller box at Sam's. We're on the verge of size 3 already, and have one of those jumbo boxes of 2s to burn through still. I'm thinking I'll have to poach one of the neighbor's steers every now and then to feed him if he stays at this rate.

I couldn't wait to become a daddy and didn't mind the 3am feedings or being peed/puked on etc. because along with all of those things comes all of the first, smile, rolling over, funny laughs, sitting, crawling, walking and, you get the point. It was all a part of the experience of having children and all of it is special.

Prime is the BOMB. Not only do I usually get 1 day shipping and no tax, their video service allowed me to see Mission Impossible 4 and the first three seasons of Justified at no extra charge. They've got Breaking Bad as well, a show I've never seen. Hopefully, I can find time this Fall.

Their library of shows is ever growing and makes it worth the $79.99 alone. I generally place between 100-150 orders per year through Amazon because it beats the hell out of Target and LA traffic/parking.

This. Subscribe to the Moms Club, it's free with Prime and gives discounts on lots of kid products. Shows up at your door with no shipping charge. If you're lucky you're in a state where they have no warehouse so it's tax free.
