Who'da thunk that one year into the glorious move to the Sec! SEC! SEC!, that the mouthbreather portion of the Mizzou fan base like Saul would be reduced to talking about KU football? Did anyone see that coming when the champaign was uncorked at the big celebration announcement?

There's a lot of division right now over the direction of the football program. Not in a bad way for anyone other than Gary Pinkel. People are just pissed off about 5-7, nothing more to be read into it then that. In fact the move has turned up the heat b/c there's a lot of momentum from the AD's POV created by the move that they have no intention of letting fall by the wayside due to mediocre football results over a long period of time. He's on the clock in terms of next season.

There is a lot at stake - the school has a massive stadium overhaul planned and a lot of jacked pledged to that end along w/ many other improvements that they have no intention of letting evaporate into thin air.

an open qb competition (with a healthy JF) will go a long way towards more wins.

They got plenty of problems and the ones many people are ignoring due to all the QB issues reside on the defensive side of the ball and are enormous.
