Well... we are at 8 in a row. 11 more till 19 in a row. That is a REAL possibilty at this point. We can't hit, we can't pitch and we can't play defense. I don't see any player on the Royals that could start for even a middle tier major league team. I am sure we have a few that could start for the Pirates but thats about it.

Omaha is off to a decent start and so is Wichita. Why not rape and piliage their rosters for all the kids that are supposed to be the Royals saviors and bring them up now. Hell they can't be any worse than the current players.

I fully agree, if somebody is good enough to play god damned baseball, they'll do it. I never hear of any teams coveting their "future stars" for so damned long in the minors. Its like football, right out of college, you play, if you cant play, you dont play thats all there is to it.

That's not always true. Look at Derrek Lee. Or Chris Shelton this year... Pittsburgh gave up on him and now he's tearing it up for Detroit. There are tons of guys who took a long time to develop.
