Would you rather be 8-0 with Alex Smith or 3-5 with Geno?

Our offense is terrible with Alex Smith. It would likely be worse with Geno given his propensity to turn the ball over and give the other teams points through pick 6s and returned fumbles for TDs. So seeing as how we barely win with the offense we have now, we'd have likely lost more than a few games if we had Geno as our QB.

But would you rather take those growing pains with Geno, or be 8-0 with Alex and be in the driver seat toward a first round bye in the playoffs?

Really? What value do you bring to this board or any thread in general besides complaining incessantly about AS and how he is not your choice for QB? Get over it. He is our QB and nothing you say will change that. Damn.

All that's happened since is the Chiefs are 8-0 and Geno Smith is on a historic run for turnovers by a QB.

Again, good job?
What did you predict about last years team?

Give Dane credit. As wrong as he was last year, he nailed this season.

He's back to .500.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Geno hasn't shown anything to prove he is a franchise quarterback. How can you not take the guy who already once before got his team within 1 game of a superbowl? Far as scrambling qb's he's not even shown RG3 or Cam Newton first year potential. He may or may not be great but that's a gamble, chiefs fans just want that elite qb so bad they don't seem to realize how rare that is. That sure thing comes along once every blue moon. Then you have those who only look great under the right conditions and right coaching like the Matt Cassells.

Alex Smith has looked bad under certain coaches, horrible actually. But looked very good up under Harbough, which may have been a product of coaching/scheme or a matter of him having the right weapons.

Id take Alex Smith under Harbough in a heartbeat and he shows flashes of that for one half per game at the most so far. I don't know if it will take a matter of him being comfortable with the weapons he has,or the coaches playing up to his strengths and running the ball a little more to set up the pass. But hopefully hell get back in that form, because that Smith is more than just a qb who just "doesn't throw interceptions".

But he very well could be the alex smith who was first hated and booed by 49ers fans under THIS COACH without Harbough. Some qb's and coaches just have better chemistry then others, then you have those who are elite anywhere which are rare but chiefs fans seem to think come a dime a dozen lol.

We are 9-0,I don't care if Alex Smith is just a lucky guy at this point, and his luck is why were winning. Until our luck starts to run out you really can't lose this guy lol. Best season for me as a chiefs fan ever, the vermeil era was great but I'm a lot more confident we will close out games than I have ever been. Vermeil era I enjoyed the ride but was pretty sure wed blow it.

Did we beat the Bills? Also, Alex Smith's "luck"? Really? Surely this is a mult.
