my wife and I bought a used Unchartered on a whim, and then ended up buying all of them. it was a fun game for us to hang out and play together. She loves Tomb Raider, which I'm not all that much of a fan. Too many 'puzzle' type missions....it's like an endless series of puzzles. She likes it though. But she really liked Unchartered. Just told her a new one is coming out, and she's super excited.

Uncharted also had several puzzle missions. Thats the part of both Tomb Raider and Uncharted I liked. Constantly shooting your way out of trouble gets old after a while. The puzzles make for a great buffer.

That's why I was a big RE fan of the originals. Puzzles were fun and gave you a break from shooting your way through zombies, dogs, etc.

yeah, I agree.
it just seemed like last time I played a Tomb Raider game with the wife, it was just an endless puzzle. that's why I liked Unchartered so much; good mix of action, story, and puzzle solving type stuff.

Over rated ass games. I went into playing these because of the praise i heard, but after about 4 hours into playing some of these games i felt like i had already played them but with a female character. they bring nothing new that Tomb Raider hadnt already brought.

Im not saying the games are bad or anything. Just felt like i played these before.
