NFL Draft ESPN News Draft Special (Jeremy Green is a reeruned douchebag)

ESPN News is doing a draft special and they just talked about the Chiefs. First off, the analysts make Jay Mariotti look like a genius. Jeremy Green (the worst of the bunch) just said that Chiefs fans will revolt if they take Dorsey with the fifth pick. He even made a comparison to Ryan Sims. Wow, just wow.

Yea I saw that.......there are some fans on here that were trumping that at 1 point. That we can't take a DT because of our past failures.

We can never take a DT again. In fact we're so bad with DT's we shouldn't even put them on the field. Draft some more linebackers and run a 2-5.

I can understand that, but it's pretty apparent that Dorsey is in a whole different league than Sims in college. Looking back, it's pretty apparent that Sims' success came mostly from the fact that he lined up next to Julius Peppers.

Or we can run the 0-5-6 that the Pats ran against the Colts a few plays a couple years ago.

I think there might be some merit to that.

A lot of Chiefs fans are uneducated when it comes to the draft, and many think that anything other than an OT will be a colossal mistake.

Just look around this place, and other sites as well.

If we get a shot at Dorsey we thank the football gods and hope we can get a great value OL at one of our next 3 picks. But if the value isnt there and we get a shot at a player we have no earthly right getting a shot at, you pull the trigger. 5, 17, whatever. We need and hope to get talent at OT (I think the kind of talent we need is probably gone after the 2nd IMO).
